Interpretation services are also available at the community level such as sports events or exchange programmes between schools and grassroots events promoting interaction between the Japanese and Singaporean communities. Volunteer interpretation services or goodwill interpretation services for such purposes may be provided at a minimal fee. Please feel free to contact me for details and a more detailed quotation.

General interpretation rates are at a reasonable rate of a basic charge of $150 for the first 3 hour-block and $40 per subsequent hour.

Points to note:

-Interpretation fees stated are for general consecutive interpretation during general negotiations or appointments that do not require technical or expertise knowledge in any particular field.

-Please arrange for payment to be made within 2 weeks from the last day of the assignment.

-For interpretation, meal times are considered as working hours.

-Timings will be rounded up to the nearest half hour. For example, if the assignments end at 1.40pm, 2pm will be considered as the actual end time.

-The performance of interpreters depend a lot on how much they can prepare beforehand. The same applies to translation work. It will be greatly appreciated if the client can provide as much reference documents and materials as possible for preparation work.

Translation services

I also provide translation services at an affordable rate, targetting companies that are looking for budget translation services to cut costs. The assignments I get include general business documents, correspondence emails, interview scripts, subtitle translation for documentaries and TV programmes, and animation. Fast turnaround times for relatively short documents.

Translation services are provided at a  rate of $0.09 per source character for general Japanese to English translations and $0.18 per source word for English to Japanese translations! Contact me with a sample document today!

Bulk discounts based on the volume of documents may be considered. Customers may be required to make a deposit before work starts and the amount may vary depending on the quantity of the assignment. Also, please note that the above rates are an estimation and may differ depending on the nature and technicality of the original source document.

通訳のほかに、インタビュースクリプトの翻訳、ドキュメンタリー、テレビ番組、映画、及びアニメの字幕翻訳もしています。メールの翻訳も素早く対応いたします（通常は勤務日１日以内）。

翻訳料金は、日英の場合は日本語の１文字につきS$0.09、英日の場合は英語の１文字につきS$0.18とさせて頂いています。
